XR Startup Conclave at AIC – SMUTBI

The XR Startup Conclave 2023 took place from the 10th to 11th of August at AIC – SMU Technology Business Incubator, SMIT Majitar. This pioneering event is a collaboration between all our partners with the aim of accelerating India’s contribution towards building the metaverse and nurturing the development of XR technologies in the country.

The metaverse is the next evolution of the internet – a constellation of digital spaces and 3D experiences interconnected in such a way that people can move seamlessly between them. The defining quality of the metaverse will be a sense of presence, with XR technologies like Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR) being at the core of this immersive and interactive digital world.

At the XR Startup Conclave, founders got a unique opportunity to engage with some of the brightest minds in the industry, exploring the world of XR technologies, discussing their potential, and sharing your thoughts and ideas on how India can take a lead in this digital frontier. This is not just a chance to learn about the cutting-edge technologies that will shape the metaverse, but also a platform to network, collaborate, and be part of the dialogue that will guide the future of digital experiences in India and beyond.
