AIC – SMU Technology Business Incubator celebrated National Startup Day on 16th January 2023 at Ramada Hotel, Gangtok. On the occasion of #startupindia#startupindia#startupindia Innovation Week 2023, a keynote session on “Leveraging Innovations through the Manthan Platform” was conducted by Mr. Soumanil Mukherjee, Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India.
A discussion on the importance of incubation centers during covid pandemic, startups of MSME along with a demo of Manthan App which welcomes innovators with Sustainable Development Goals and Emerging technologies was shared. He also called upon new startups having new proposals to join them for the improvement and betterment of society as a whole. By leveraging the platform, startups can gain more idea on CSR grants, research, and various programs throughout India.
Furthermore, an open discussion with the founders took place followed by Startup Founders Hustle where startups from all the states of North East India participated. It was indeed a great delight to hear about the journeys of our startups from ideation to growth and scale. A shoutout to all our incubatees and the support they have provided building the ecosystem. The event concluded with high-tea and network building activities.
