XR Startup Program Summit

The XR Startup Program Summit was held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi on 26th July 2023. The program welcomed startups from four implementation partners of the XR Startup Program. Sir Nick Clegg, Former Deputy Prime Minister, UK, and President, Global Affairs, Meta, Mr. Jeet V. Vijay, CEO MSH, MeitY, Mr. Sunil Abraham, Public Policy Director India along with various other prominent speakers from META and other investment stakeholders participated in the discussions during the event.

Furthermore, Prof (Dr.) Tej Chingtham, CEO AIC-SMUTBI conveyed at length the technology innovation that is being done at the underserved regions in India and the work being done to reduce the technology gap. He also spoke about the development carried out by the XR cohort from Grand Challenge and Acceleration and the impact that they have made. It is worth mentioning that our cohort has created 3Cr in revenue and 12Cr in fundraising.

The XR startup program is still in progress and is expected to end by September-October. Grateful for Meta for giving us the opportunity to implement the Acceleration Program in the XR Domain from the Eastern Region of India.
