CII Sikkim MSME Conclave
On 31st January, 2024, AIC – SMU Technology Business Incubator attended the CII Sikkim MSME Conclave organized by CII North East. The program on “Building Future Ready MSMEs through Competitiveness and Financial Empowerment” shed light on the crucial role of MSMEs in shaping the nation’s future. The address by Prof (Dr.) Tej Chingtham discussed the passion of entrepreneurs on the ground and the support provided through various initiatives and government grants. He additionally creatively iterated on the life cycle of startups and the troughs where innovation is conceived.
The interactive session during the event also provided insights from dignitaries of the State Bank of India and other financial institutions, including the RBI, NRL, SIDBI, and others.
