On 6th February, AIC SMUTBI, Sikkim successfully conducted Appscale Academy Roadshow ’23 for app-based start-ups looking to power their growth story.
Appscale Academy Program is a growth and development program by MeitY Startup Hub (MSH) and Google to help early to mid-stage start-ups build high-quality apps for the world.
CEO, AIC SMUTBI, Prof. (Dr.) Tej Chingtham welcomed the Google team and felicitated the guest of honour present. The awareness program consequently addressed by Mr. Adit Lal (Google android Developer Expert) and Mr. Shravan Srinivasan (Partnership Manager).
A session on “Android ‘Building for everyone’” composing different aspects on app development, feature development, tech debt, kotlin, etc., and “Best Practises on Google Play and Appscale Academy” was shared. By partnering with India’s developer ecosystem, the journey of google play encapsulating 140+ billion app download, 2.5 billion active users present in 190+ countries, Appscale Academy brings many opportunities to founders and developers.
Furthermore, Appscale Academy Alumni, Mr. Gaurav Bora (Founder and CEO, SAVE SOUL) shared his experience in the program. Mr. Chittaranjan Sethi (Senior Project Manager, MSH) addressed start up founders on the importance of developing their own apps while contributing to the ecosystem.
The event concluded successfully with a vote of thanks by Ms. Sushmita Prasad (Accounts Manager, AIC SMUTBI).
