About: aAHARAN is an ed-tech social start up based in Tripura. It was established in 2018. aAHARAN deals in creating digital learning content in vernacular languages with an aim to guide students to learn easily and memorize smartly through its learning platform for 9th and 10th Standard students of state board of India. This unique app aims at guiding students to understand better using attractive and effective multi- media techniques for an annual subscription. The word – “aAHARAN” – means “to acquire”, literally it provides platform to gain knowledge from the app.

Our Vision and Mission: “We want to empower every school going student of India to learn better by providing quality education through an online learning platform irrespective of students’ geographic & economic position.”

Mission: The NEP 2020 promotes digital learning as an alternative to traditional classrooms. However, rural and Tier 3 city students lack e-learning opportunities due to language barriers and limited resources. To address this, aAHARAN offers a customized platform with quality education in vernacular languages. This empowers students regardless of economic or geographic constraints. The platform includes video tutorials, study materials, and tests, engaging smartphone users for productive learning. This fosters lifelong knowledge and contributes to overall societal improvement.

1. Signed MoU with Tribal Welfare Department, Govt. of Tripura to provide aAHARAN Learning App (in Bengali & Kokborok Language) to the Tribal Students of Tripura (2023)

His tenure as a District coordinator for TRLM, operating under the Department of Rural Development, Government of Tripura, demonstrated his profound understanding of rural development and community empowerment.

In 2018, Amit’s entrepreneurial zeal led him to establish aAHARAN, an ed tech platform designed to bridge educational gaps and foster social progress. With his innate leadership acumen and strategic acuity, Amit and his team spearheaded aAHARAN’s growth, guiding it through multiple milestones. Under his adept leadership, the startup has successfully harnessed technology to revolutionize education and bring it within the reach of marginalized communities.
