Mr. Prashant Agrawal

Prashant Agrawal received Ph.D. (Electrical Engineering) from KU Leuven/ Imec (Belgium) in 2015, MS (Computers Science & Engineering) from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. He is currently the Program Manager for Thin Film Electronics Circuits & Sensors at Imec Belgium. Prior to this, he had been an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Imec (Belgium) between 2015-18 during which he led technical and business development activities for startup creation based on selected Imec technologies. He worked as Senior R&D Engineer in the Hyperspectral Imaging Group at Imec (Belgium) between 2014-2015 and as Technical Staff Member in the High-Performance Computing Group at IBM Research India between 2006-2009. He has a commercial acumen with a strong technical background in a wide array of domains such as thin-film electronics, hyperspectral image sensors, systems & applications, machine learning, high performance computing, embedded systems and low power VLSI. He is passionate about entrepreneurship and technology commercialization.
