Ms. Rohini Nair

Co-Founding members & Partner – Corporate & Private Equity Practice of a full-service national Law Firm ANB Legal. She has been instrumental in upliftment of the firm’s clientele and establishment of the Firm as a full service national law firm having its branches in Mumbai, Delhi, Goa, Kolkata and Kochi. As a core member of the corporate/commercial team, Rohini has negotiated and closed many complicated transactions on the aforementioned with her team. She along with her team, directly and extensively deals with matters such as corporate restructuring, M&A, joint ventures, private equity and several corporate commercial transactions including licensing and transfer of technology. Rohini also advises clients on strategies for structuring transactions, conduct due diligence exercises, and drafting and negotiations of transaction documents. Rohini’s forte is in restructuring and cross border transactions, involving multiple jurisdictions. Her work in the area of technology has extended to legal and regulatory issues in the online domain such as online gaming, e-surveillance, artificial intelligence, fintech, e-commerce, EdTech, besides others. She is also a key member of the ‘Start-up Cell’ of the firm and being a part thereof, she has so far worked with several emerging start-ups across sectors and strives to extend complete handholding to enthusiastic co-founders, especially women, of such emerging start-ups.

Her hard work, subtle professional sincerity and ability has been appreciated by almost all clients whom she has serviced. Rohini is an avid speaker at various conferences, seminars, corporate meetings and events organized by reputed organizations/associations including the Women Economic Forum (WEF), Rise Initiative by Barclays, Cochin Chamber Of Commerce & Industry, TiE Kerala, Women Entrepreneurs India (WEI), 10000StartupsIndia, AIC-SMU Technology Business Incubation Foundation, MaGESpire, Mansha Vission India, besides speaking at other colleges, schools and other academic sessions organized by associations such as The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Legal Sarcasm, MyLawman and many more. She has addressed a wide range of audience and conducted quite a few workshops, especially for stakeholders in the startup space on deal life cycle including the legalities around capital raising transactions, negotiations and structuring of deals. Apart from her professional background, She is also a trained Bharatanatyam dancer having cleared various state level dance examinations through Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal. Under the guidance and blessings of her Guruji, she has performed at diversified forums/platforms at various occasions.
