Mr. Rajen Padukone

Mr Rajen Padukone’s varied experience of over 30 years, includes appointments at ANZ Grindlays Bank, Crompton Greaves Limited and Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltdand covers the healthcare, education, investment banking, international finance, retail financial services and manufacturing sectors. Mr Padukone joined the Manipal Group in 1998 and over the past 14 years has worked in both their health and education verticals. Manipal Group’s healthcare network comprises of primary, secondary and tertiary facilities and encompasses both corporate and teaching hospitals. It has 17 hospitals covering 5,700 beds, in India and overseas. His healthcare experience includes establishing start-ups, operations and building & linking healthcare networks across the spectrum of primary to tertiary care. His experience is the area of education includes managing various initiatives covering the entire spectrum of university education – from campus based education to distance and distributed learning and corporate & continuing education. He has done his Masters in Economics from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune, and a Masters in Management Studies from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
